My kingdom is not of this world and I'm not a lover of the world. God is truth, and we are logical spiritual political beings who seek truth unlike anything else we have seen or probably will discover. Right? Lovers of truth and light. Truth is God and it is beyond the world.
It is interesting that two idols many people worship are money, (which unless it is gold and silver, is pretty much not even real and certainly is not a physical tangible asset,) and technology or things made with the hands. Only logical spiritual beings can create idols, hence why logic is "paradoxically" fundamental to understanding the Bible, the paradoxes and contradictions in the Bible and the Gospel of John. What is real? Your world is full of lies. The truth is connected to logic and it is beyond this world. Our system of reasoning is incomplete, because some truths are unprovable.

The cross is a start point, two lines coming together, an axiom.
1. Any system powerful enough to express basis arithmetic contains true statements that are not provable by the system.
2. Any system with basic arithmetic and basic logical properties cannot prove its own consistency.
Sam Harris, the atheist Jew, (how is he a Jew? Unlike the animals and everything else in nature, he can ask the question if there is a God as an atheist,) is an embodiment of this paradox. Two of his books, Free Will where he thinks people don't have any free will, and Lying where he thinks people should tell the truth. Not only in the ethical domain, but the scientific. Think about it, even when you do get the proper evidence from your test and experiments, you could lie about it? All of these paradoxes are connected to the creature that is the embodiment of God, made in the image. We are the only ones who really "wrestle" with this like Jacob.
The truth is free will is somewhat like the belief in God, only humans even ask these questions and embody the paradox of it. Ultimately, the Bible reflects a compatibilist sort of view. Free will, but, written into the book from the beginning, the crucifixion was planned from the beginning of the world. God knew Jeremiah in the womb.
