The scapegoat
This is similar to the Herod and Jesus issue (the slaughter of the innocence,) 
and laying snares and slandering in the book of Psalms and the Gospels. 
There are spies that know more about me than I know about myself, similar
to the demons that knew who Jesus was. Also, a prophet will not be loved
 in his own town and his family will think he is crazy. 

The Plot to Kill Jesus (Jesus as the Scapegoat) … in the Gospel of John

"If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in Him, and then the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation.” But one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said to them, “You know nothing at all! You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish.”- John 11:45-57

While from innate cowardice the upper classes turn away from a man whom the Jew attacks with lies and slander, the broad masses from stupidity or simplicity believe everything. The state authorities either cloak themselves in silence or, what usually happens, in order to put an end to the Jewish press campaign, they persecute the unjustly attacked, which, in the eyes of such an official ass, passes as the preservation of state authority and the safeguarding of law and order.- Hitler Mein Kampf  (I am only quoting this here to show he wrote that something similar was going on in Weimar before the Nazi's came to power) 

Christ is identified as an anomaly that screws up the system, this connects to Chaos theory and the Pareto principle, this is also the Hegelian Geist (means spirit,) working through everything (the holy spirit) that moves to the synthesis. Order out of Chaos. God pulls light out of darkness, Eve is pulled out of Adam. Simple to Complex, from Adam and Eve and their contrary forces which is a law of nature,  0 and 1, broken and unbroken of the I-Ching and the Ying/Yang. Once this happens the Jews are seen at the opposite end of the spectrum with their levels of control and power. (Christ dealing with money changers in all Gospels and identifying a sizeable amount of the Jews as his adversaries.  (Also here and here in Revelation.) The "Jews" repeated over 60 times in the Gospel of John and they try to kill him 21 times throughout the gospels, hence John 21 and the eclipse associated with the 153 fish and the Vesica Piscis. (Jesus also starts a new belief system with Christianity, hence the beginning of the Gospel of John. It is not about the blood anymore, he came to his own and they didn't receive him.) The gospel of John rolls into the judgment against them in Revelation from the "signs" gospel of John with the eclipse.  

For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted - Matthew 23:12
